About Mr. T.

I am a full time teacher in Blackfoot, Idaho. I teach the best subjects possible- Tech and Design, Metals and Leathers, and Small Engine and Bicycle Repair. Mr. T's Mobile Small Engine Repair is my summer job- which is helping me be able to afford to be a teacher! I have a wide range of expertise and experience that customers can benefit from. Please read about them below!

Mission Statement:

My mission is to provide quality service at fair prices in such a way that the work I do will generate repeat customers and word-of-mouth business.

Key Company Principles:

1.  Provide the best possible work that meets the needs and wants of the customer
2.  Be professional in actions and presentation
3.  Respond promptly to all calls.

Mechanical Experience:

I have been mowing lawns since I was 10 years old and gained a lot of my mechanical experience just trying to keep my lawnmower running! I was formally trained in small engine repair at Don's Fix-it, more recently known as Mountain View Sales and Service, of Shelley Idaho. I have worked at repair shops while attending college and have kept in practice by tinkering on many projects for friends and myself. Currently I teach a small engine repair class and somehow manage to help 20 students work on 20 different projects at a time. I have 20 years of experience dealing with small engines and am very good at what I do.

Welding Experience:

While I am not a certified welder, I have been doing odd welding jobs for several years. I am limited currently on mobile welding jobs to things that can be done with a 110 wire feed welder. I am still looking at gaining more experience in this area, so if you have a type of job that I've never done before, I would love to try it out and give you a steep discount on my rates!

Lawn Care Experience:

As mentioned, I have been mowing lawns since I was 10. I have run my own lawn care business as a youth, successfully maintaining 4-6 lawns for several years. As a student at college, I worked on the grounds crew mowing lawns, maintaining flower gardens, trimming trees, raking, doing snow removal, and all other tasks associated with maintaining the campus. One summer was spent on a Golf Course where I was responsible for mowing and maintaining the fairways. Other duties at the Golf Course involved mowing, maintaining, and dressing greens, repairing irrigation systems, weed eating, edging, and repairing damaged grass. I proudly maintain my own yard and feel that it makes a wonderful showcase of the work that I'm capable of.
